In NY at Chelsea hotpsot BED for the birthday party of Ilyasah Shabazz, center. Ilyasah is the author of "Growing Up X" (a tale of her life as the daughter of Malcolm X) and ... a former FITCAMPER!

My longtime, dear friend Jay Bernstein, passed away recently. He created the careers of Farrah Fawcett, Suzanne Somers, Linda Evans, and many, many more. HIs Memorial Party at Paramount Studios was a Who's Who of Hollywood. Suzanne Somers delivered a stirring tribute speech and sang "Bye Bye Baby". Actress Sally Kirkland reminisced as well, as did many others. I have a photo of Jay and I from the early 90's which I will put up as soon as my scanner coperates.
In the meantime, here's a quick shot of actor/musician Frank Stallone and I. We did a film together in the 80's. |
